A comparison by team size

Waalaxy vs HeyReach: follow the account count from one to twenty-five

These two rarely lose deals to each other, because they serve different stages of a company. Waalaxy is built so that one person can go from nothing to a running campaign without help. HeyReach is built so that an operations lead can run dozens of LinkedIn accounts as a single machine. This comparison follows a team as it grows and marks the point where the sensible choice changes.

The short answer

With one account, Waalaxy is the obvious pick: a low entry price, a gentle learning curve and email finder credits included. Between two and five accounts it still holds up, thanks to team plans that prevent double contact. Somewhere past five, the work changes from sending messages to coordinating senders, and that is the job HeyReach was designed for: automatic rotation, one inbox for every account, flat agency plans and white-label. Pick for the size you will be next year.

Waalaxy and HeyReach at a glance

They have more in common than their reputations suggest. Both run entirely in the cloud. Both send connection requests and messages on a schedule, and both can look up email addresses. Both support more than one user. The split is in how they treat several accounts: side by side on Waalaxy, pooled on HeyReach.

The table shows the two products as they are. The stages underneath show when each row starts to matter.

Stage by stage: who is ahead and when

Waalaxy’s advantages cluster at the start of the journey. HeyReach’s appear once accounts multiply.

Waalaxy’s strengths

A cloud sequencer one person can learn in an evening, with a low-priced tier to start on.

Suits: Solo sellers and teams of up to about five who want low cost and little setup.

At one account: cheap to begin, quick to learn

A single seller can start a free trial, pick a ready-made sequence and have invites going out the same day, then stay on a low-priced entry tier. HeyReach offers a 14-day trial too, and much of its interface is about managing several senders you do not have yet.

At two to five: no stepping on each other

Waalaxy’s team plans share analytics and block two colleagues from contacting the same prospect. For a handful of reps who each run their own list, that is most of the coordination they need.

Email is in the box

Paid tiers come with email finder credits and the top tier adds email steps to LinkedIn sequences. HeyReach can find emails as a sequence step but leaves email sending to partner tools such as Instantly or Smartlead.

A low price per seat, even for a team

Waalaxy’s lower tiers stay cheaper per account than HeyReach across most team sizes. If cost per seat is the only measure, it wins for longer than people assume.

Nothing to install since mid-2026

The move to a fully cloud-based app removed the old Chrome extension requirement. Campaigns keep running when the browser is closed.

HeyReach’s strengths

A cloud platform for running many LinkedIn accounts as one coordinated sender.

Suits: Agencies and outbound teams with more than five accounts and a person in charge of operations.

Past five accounts: one list, every sender

HeyReach rotates a single campaign across all connected accounts by itself. Waalaxy’s team plan keeps a separate daily quota for each member, which is fine at three seats and far more to coordinate at fifteen.

At ten: one inbox for the whole roster

Replies from every account show up together. One or two people can handle responses for the entire team without switching profiles all day.

At twenty-five: a flat fee and your own brand

The Agency plan charges one monthly price for a block of senders and includes white-label branding with separate client workspaces. An agency can present it as its own platform.

At any size: built to be connected

An API, webhooks, MCP and listed integrations with HubSpot, Clay and others let an operations lead automate list loading, routing and reporting. Waalaxy syncs to CRMs through Zapier, Make or n8n on its higher tiers.

How cost behaves as you add accounts

Start at one account. Waalaxy’s entry tier costs far less than HeyReach’s per-sender Growth plan at the time of writing, though its top tier, billed month to month, costs more. Add colleagues and Waalaxy keeps charging per user, with the same tier for everyone on a team plan. HeyReach keeps charging per sender until you move to the Agency plan, which is one flat monthly fee for a block of senders. Fill that block and the cost per account falls to roughly the level of Waalaxy’s entry tier. Move to the Unlimited plan with a large roster and it falls well below. So Waalaxy is cheaper per seat at small and medium sizes, and HeyReach becomes cheaper per account only at agency scale. What the flat plans really buy before that point is not savings. It is rotation, the shared inbox and white-label. Check both pricing pages for current numbers.

Waalaxy

Three paid tiers charged per user, with a free trial for new accounts. Team plans put every member on the same tier. The free Freemium mode runs no automation, according to Waalaxy’s help center.

HeyReach

Per sender on Growth. Flat monthly fees for a block of senders on Agency and a much larger cap on Unlimited, both with white-label. 14-day trial.

Find your stage

Waalaxy is the right call when

You run one to five LinkedIn accounts and each person works their own list. You want to start at a low price. Nobody on the team has time to be an operations lead. You would like email finder credits and email steps without adding another vendor.

HeyReach is the right call when

You run more than five accounts, or you manage accounts for clients. One list needs to be spread across many senders automatically. A small group answers replies for everyone. You need your own branding and separate workspaces for each client, or an API to connect the rest of your stack.

Icebreakly is worth a look when

Adding senders has raised your volume and not your reply rate, because every new sender is one more stranger to the prospect. Icebreakly adds no sending capacity at all. It makes the people on your list familiar with you, through comments in your voice on their posts, from one account or several.

A note on scale

More senders multiply your first impression, whatever it is

Going from one seat to twenty-five multiplies whatever your first message already does. If most strangers ignore your invite, they keep ignoring it at any scale, and every account is still held to roughly a hundred invites a week.

Icebreakly changes the other variable: how well the person knows you before you ask. It monitors leads you choose and comments on their new posts in your voice, about once per lead per day and never in bursts. The Pro plan connects three LinkedIn accounts in one shared workspace, with more as add-ons, so a team or agency can run comment campaigns side by side. Every campaign writes in its own Voice, and the tracker lists the leads who have passed twelve touches.

None of this replaces Waalaxy or HeyReach. Icebreakly sends no connection requests or messages, rotates nothing and has no white-label portal. If the plan is thousands of contacts a month, a sequencer does that and Icebreakly does not. The two meet at the top of the list: warm the hundred accounts each rep most wants, then let the sequencer, or the rep, send an invite from a known name.

Waalaxy vs HeyReach: frequent questions

Is Waalaxy only for single users?

No. Waalaxy is easiest for a single user, but it also sells team plans with shared analytics and duplicate prevention so that colleagues do not contact the same prospect. All members of a team take the same tier. It is not built around automatic rotation of one campaign across a large pool of accounts, which is HeyReach’s specialty.

Is HeyReach too much for one person?

Usually, yes. A single account can use it, but the features that set HeyReach apart, such as sender rotation, a shared inbox and client workspaces, only matter with several accounts. One person will normally get started faster and for less on Waalaxy.

At what size should a team move from Waalaxy to HeyReach?

There is no fixed number, but the pressure tends to build past five accounts. The signs are practical: splitting lists by hand, reps chasing replies across profiles, or clients asking for their own view. If cost per seat is your only concern, Waalaxy stays competitive for much longer.

Which is cheaper for an agency?

Per seat, Waalaxy’s lower tiers are cheaper at most sizes. HeyReach’s Agency plan is a flat fee for a block of senders, so its cost per account drops as the block fills and becomes the lower of the two only on a large roster. Agencies mostly choose HeyReach for rotation, the single inbox and white-label, not for price alone.

Does HeyReach or Waalaxy have a free plan?

Neither tool sends for free once a trial ends. HeyReach offers a 14-day free trial on its standard plan. Waalaxy offers a free trial of its paid tiers and keeps a free Freemium mode with no time limit, which its help center says cannot run automation.

Do both tools run in the cloud?

Yes. HeyReach has always been a web app. Waalaxy became fully cloud-based in July 2026 and retired its Chrome extension, so campaigns on both keep running when your computer is off.

Which one handles email outreach?

Waalaxy includes email finder credits on paid tiers and adds email steps to sequences on its top tier. HeyReach can look up an email as a step and then relies on integrations with email platforms such as Instantly and Smartlead to do the sending.

Can I try the larger HeyReach plans before committing?

HeyReach says a 30-day free trial can be requested for its Agency and Unlimited plans, in addition to the 14-day trial on its standard plan. Waalaxy gives new accounts a short trial of its paid tiers, and its free Freemium mode keeps your lists open afterward. Both let you test with real accounts before paying.

How do Waalaxy and HeyReach connect to a CRM?

Waalaxy offers CRM sync through Zapier, Make and n8n on its higher tiers. HeyReach lists a native HubSpot integration, connections to tools such as Clay, and Zapier, Make and n8n, plus webhooks and an API for custom work. A team with an operations person will get more out of HeyReach. A solo user is usually well served by Waalaxy’s sync.

If we add more LinkedIn accounts, will we get more replies?

You will send more invites, since each account has its own weekly limit of around a hundred. Whether replies rise in proportion depends on how prospects react to a request from someone they do not know. Some teams work on that separately by warming their most important leads first, for example with a comment tool like Icebreakly, which comments on chosen leads’ posts in your voice. Icebreakly does not send invites or messages, so it is used with a sequencer, not in place of one.

Scale the familiarity before you scale the sending

On Icebreakly’s Pro plan a team can comment from three LinkedIn accounts in one shared workspace, with more accounts available as add-ons. Start with the free trial and one account to see the motion work on ten leads.
