Reviewed October 2026
The best AI SDR tools in 2026, grouped by what they actually take over.
The label “AI SDR” now covers three different products. Some are agents that find prospects, write to them and book the meeting. Some are AI features inside a sales engagement platform a team already runs. One, ours, does something narrower: it comments on your chosen leads’ LinkedIn posts so they know you before anyone sends a message. These solve different problems, and buying the wrong kind is an expensive mistake. Below are eight tools, with what each one does and what it leaves to you.
Icebreakly publishes this ranking and appears in it at number four, so treat our entry as the least neutral one on the page. For the other seven we read vendor websites, documentation and pricing pages in October 2026, along with recent third-party pricing write-ups where a vendor does not publish prices. We ran no pilots with these products and have no meeting or reply data to compare them on. Vendors in this category repackage often, so confirm anything that matters with the vendor. The list comes in three groups. Numbers one to three are standalone agents that run cold outbound from sourcing through to booking, which is what most people searching for an AI SDR are after. Number four is the warm-first agent: standalone as well, but with one narrow job. Numbers five to eight are AI capabilities sold with a sequencer or a sales engagement platform, and they make most sense if you already own that platform.
What we looked at
The same questions were put to each tool below. The answers come from public documentation and pricing pages, not from a test lab.
- How much of the SDR job it does without a person: sourcing, writing, sending, handling replies, booking
- Which channels it works on, and what exactly it does on LinkedIn
- Whether you can see what goes out under your name before it goes
- What you must already own for it to work: a CRM, a sequencer, a data provider
- How it is priced: per seat, per contact, or by annual contract
- What it does to your standing with the people it contacts
The list
For each tool you get what it is good at, where it falls short, who should choose it, a price range, and our short verdict.
- #1
11x (Alice)
An autonomous outbound agent sold to mid-market and enterprise teams.
Strengths
- Alice researches prospects, writes personalized email and LinkedIn outreach, follows up and books meetings
- Built to run with little daily input once it has been configured
- A companion phone agent, Julian, handles calls
- Venture-backed and one of the best-known names in the category
Weaknesses
- Sold on annual contracts at a price that rules out most small teams
- An agent writing to strangers at volume is still writing to strangers, and your brand carries the result
- Best for
- Mid-market and enterprise teams that want cold outbound run by an agent and have the budget and patience for an annual commitment.
- Pricing
- Annual contracts. Public reports put the starting point in the tens of thousands of dollars a year.
- Verdict
- The most visible product in the “hire an AI rep” camp. Worth a look if you want the whole cold motion handled and can afford it. Ask for references in your own segment before signing a year.
- #2
Artisan (Ava)
An AI BDR bundled with its own B2B contact database.
Strengths
- Ava sources leads from Artisan’s own contact database, so no separate data vendor is needed
- Writes and sends outreach by email and on LinkedIn, and handles the replies
- One vendor covers data, sending and the agent itself
Weaknesses
- You depend on Artisan’s data quality instead of choosing your own source
- Plans and prices have been repackaged more than once, so quotes vary
- Best for
- Companies that want a single vendor for the whole top of the funnel and accept the lock-in that comes with it.
- Pricing
- Sold through its sales team, with cost tied to how many leads are contacted. Ask for a current quote.
- Verdict
- A broad all-in-one. The appeal is one contract in place of three. The cost of that convenience is less choice over where your data comes from.
- #3
AiSDR
A volume-priced AI SDR for email and LinkedIn, with close HubSpot ties.
Strengths
- Priced by contacts per month with unlimited users, not by the seat
- Covers email as well as LinkedIn invites, messages and InMail
- A two-way HubSpot integration
- Monthly and quarterly terms, in a category where annual contracts are common
Weaknesses
- The entry plan covers a small number of contacts, and useful volume costs a good deal more
- Like every agent in this group, it contacts people who have not heard of you
- Best for
- Small and mid-size teams on HubSpot that want a full outbound agent without signing for a year.
- Pricing
- From a few hundred dollars a month for a small contact volume up to a few thousand for larger ones.
- Verdict
- On contract terms, the easiest of the three full agents to try. Check how many contacts you would really need each month, because that number sets the bill.
- #4
Icebreakly
Our productThe warm-first entry. It comments on your leads’ posts, and it does not send.
Strengths
- Does one part of an SDR’s job without being reminded: turning up under every new post from the leads you chose
- Each comment is drafted from the post itself and written in a Voice trained on your samples, tone and guardrails
- You decide how much to delegate. Approve every draft, or let Autopilot post within your rules
- The warming tracker shows touch counts and stages, so a human rep can see which leads are ready for a message
- An MCP server with 63 tools lets Claude add leads, clear the approval queue and report who is warm
Weaknesses
- It is not a full AI SDR. It does not source leads, send invites, messages or email, handle replies or book meetings
- Somebody still has to do the outreach once a lead is warm
- It needs leads who post. Quiet accounts stay cold
- Results arrive over weeks, not days
- Best for
- Teams selling larger deals to a short named list, where the cold message from a stranger is the step that keeps failing.
- Pricing
- Free 7-day trial. Standard costs $49 a month for 100 monitored leads. Pro costs $99 a month for 300 leads and 3 LinkedIn accounts, plus $40 a month for each further account.
- Verdict
- The narrowest tool here, on purpose. It will not replace an SDR or an outbound agent. It handles the slow part nobody keeps up by hand: being present for weeks so that the eventual message comes from a name the buyer recognizes. If you need sourcing and sending automated, choose from numbers one to three.
- #5
Reply.io (Jason AI SDR)
A multichannel sequencer that also sells an AI SDR agent.
Strengths
- Sequences run across email, LinkedIn and calls from one tool
- Jason AI can build sequences, respond to replies and book meetings
- The sequencer itself is priced within reach of small teams
Weaknesses
- The AI SDR agent is bought separately from the sequencer plans
- LinkedIn is one channel among several, not the center of the product
- Best for
- Small and mid-size sales teams that want a familiar sequencer first and an agent as an optional extra.
- Pricing
- Sequencer plans run from roughly $50 to $90 a user each month. The Jason AI SDR agent is priced apart from them, starting at several hundred dollars a month.
- Verdict
- A practical middle path. You can begin with people running sequences and add the agent later, on a platform you already know.
- #6
Regie.ai
Began as an AI writing layer for sequences. Now a sales engagement platform with agents and a dialer.
Strengths
- AI agents source contacts and keep them engaged between human touches
- An AI dialer is part of the platform
- Deep roots in generating and testing sales copy
Weaknesses
- Sold by the seat with minimum seat counts, so it is built for teams, not individuals
- Choosing it is a platform decision, not something you add in an afternoon
- Best for
- Sales teams of ten or more that want agents and human reps working out of one engagement platform.
- Pricing
- Annual per-seat plans with seat minimums. Reported prices range from under $200 to around $500 a user each month.
- Verdict
- A serious option for a team ready to rebuild its outbound around one platform. Too much for a founder or a three-person team.
- #7
Outreach
The enterprise sales engagement platform, with AI agents added.
Strengths
- Mature sequencing, reporting and admin controls built for large teams
- AI agents for prospecting and deal work, plus Kaia for conversation intelligence
- Deep CRM integration
Weaknesses
- Custom-quoted annual contracts, aimed at companies with sales operations staff
- The AI comes as part of the platform, so it mainly makes sense if you already run Outreach
- Best for
- Large sales organizations already standardized on Outreach that want more AI inside the system they own.
- Pricing
- Custom quotes on annual terms.
- Verdict
- If Outreach is already your system of record for outbound, its AI features are the easiest upgrade available to you. It is not where a small team should begin.
- #8
Salesloft (Rhythm)
Tells reps what to do next, based on buyer signals.
Strengths
- Rhythm ranks each rep’s next actions using buyer signals
- It sits on a mature cadence engine with strong CRM integration
- Salesloft and Clari are now one company, which brings forecasting data into the picture
Weaknesses
- Rhythm prioritizes work for reps. It does not carry out the outreach itself
- Available only inside Salesloft, on a custom-quoted contract
- Best for
- Salesloft customers whose reps have more accounts than hours and need help choosing where to spend the day.
- Pricing
- Custom quotes. Rhythm is included as part of the Salesloft platform.
- Verdict
- Closer to an AI manager than an AI rep. Useful when the problem is focus. It will not reduce the number of people doing the outreach.
The short version
Start by naming the job. If you want an agent to run cold outbound from sourcing to booked meeting, compare 11x, Artisan and AiSDR, and let contract length and contact volume decide. If your reps already live in Outreach, Salesloft, Regie.ai or Reply.io, the AI inside that platform is the least disruptive step. If the trouble is that your buyers ignore messages from people they have never heard of, a faster way to send more of those messages will not help. That is the gap Icebreakly fills, and only that gap: it comments on your chosen leads’ posts in your voice until your name is familiar, then leaves the conversation to you. Some teams will want both an agent for the wide market and a warm-first tool for the fifty accounts that matter most. Whatever you buy, ask to see exactly what will be sent under your name before it goes.
Questions people ask
Which AI SDR tool is best in 2026?
It depends on which job you want done. For a standalone agent that runs cold outbound end to end, 11x, Artisan and AiSDR are the main options, and AiSDR sells monthly and quarterly terms. For AI inside a platform you already use, look at Outreach, Salesloft, Regie.ai or Reply.io. For warming a named list of leads on LinkedIn before any outreach, Icebreakly. No single tool is best at all three.
What does an AI SDR actually do?
A full AI SDR takes over the repetitive front end of sales development: finding prospects that match your criteria, researching them, writing and sending outreach, following up, answering simple replies and booking meetings. Products vary in how much of that they do alone. Some handle everything. Others only draft copy or rank a rep’s tasks, and still get called an AI SDR.
Is Icebreakly an AI SDR?
Only in a narrow sense. Icebreakly automates one part of the job: showing up for your leads. It watches the LinkedIn profiles you add, drafts a comment on each new post in your voice, and posts it with your approval or on Autopilot. It does not source leads, send connection requests, messages or email, handle replies or book meetings. A person, or another tool, does the outreach once a lead is warm.
Why is Icebreakly fourth on its own list?
Because most people searching for an AI SDR want an agent that runs the whole cold outbound motion, and three tools here do that while Icebreakly does not. Putting it first would mislead. It sits fourth as the warm-first option: a standalone agent with one narrow job, ahead of the platform add-ons that only make sense if you already own the platform.
Can an AI SDR replace human SDRs?
It can take over repetitive work such as list building, first drafts and follow-up timing. It does not replace judgment: deciding which accounts deserve attention, reading a real reply, and knowing when to ask for the meeting. Buyers also react differently to a person they recognize than to an automated stranger, which is one reason a team still needs humans in the conversation.
What does an AI SDR cost next to a human rep?
A human SDR in the United States commonly costs somewhere in the high five figures to low six figures a year once salary, commission and tooling are counted. AI SDR products range widely: from a few hundred dollars a month at low volume to annual contracts in the tens of thousands. Icebreakly costs $49 or $99 a month, but it covers only the warming step, so compare it with the time a rep would spend commenting, not with a whole salary.
Can Claude run an AI SDR workflow?
For comment campaigns, yes. Icebreakly has an MCP server at mcp.icebreakly.com with 63 tools, so Claude or another MCP client can create a comment campaign, add monitored leads, list and approve pending comments, and read which leads have reached each warming stage. It cannot make Icebreakly send messages or invites, because Icebreakly has no such feature. Check with other vendors for their own agent integrations.
Will an AI SDR damage my reputation or my LinkedIn account?
It can. An agent that sends large volumes of cold LinkedIn invites and messages raises the chance of account limits, and LinkedIn’s terms restrict automation in general. There is also the softer cost: every poorly aimed message carries your name. Ask any vendor how it paces LinkedIn activity and whether you can review messages first. Commenting at a slow pace is lower risk than bulk messaging, though no automation is risk-free.
Can I use Icebreakly alongside an AI SDR agent?
Yes. A common split is to let the outbound agent cover the wide market while Icebreakly warms the short list of accounts you most want to win. When the warming tracker shows a lead at around 12 touches, a rep writes to that person directly. Icebreakly has no native sync with other sales tools, so moving a warm lead into another system is a manual step.
